About the Instructors

Aiyesha first started practicing yoga at age 10 and was introduced to climbing, with her brother, at age 15 . She lead her first classes in Spanish while living abroad in Panama and Mexico in 2004 and 2007, finally making the decision to get certified in 2009 through YogaWorks in NYC.

In 2010, she joined YogaWarriors, ad organization that utilizes yoga to supports servicemen & women who experience COSR & PTSD. An AcroYoga practitioner since 2008, she finally got certified as an AcroYoga Teacher in 2015.

Guided by a philosophy of finding balance & presence, Aiyesha focuses on conditioning the body and breath for endurance, building strength through functional movements with good alignment, and productive physical/mental recovery time.

Combining elements of many styles, her classes are unique, detailed, instructive, strong, calming, and genuine. She speaks from the heart and always tries to encourage others to do the same.
